Kerry's time is PAST. America is moving to the right (conservative) slowly but surely. Kerry is a KENNEDY protogee, I think its even unlikely he will get the nomination. Money cant buy everything, if it could Calif. would have a different Govenor. jdn

So, you think John Kerry will be the nominee for the Democrats?!? I think John Edwards of North Carolina would make a much better candidate for the Democrats. He'd win the Democratic strongholds in the Northeast and West Coast without a problem and might even pick up some Southern states, being a Southerner and all. Of course, the Midwest will once again be the real battleground in 2004. Edwards might have more appeal to Midwesterners being a centrist Democrat from the South than a Northeastern liberal like Kerry.

Al Qaida has been Bush's best friend. His approval ratins would be scraping bottom by now if not for 9-11. Very-very ironic.

The whole events surrounding 9/11 stink to high heavens. There are just so many strange things surrounding 9/11. It makes you wonder if there is a conspiracy at play here to help Bush and his rich cronies get their agenda through Congress. Like, a $50 Billion increase in defense spending and new dictitorial powers from the government and new wars in Central Asia and the Middle East, so they can consolidate their power over those region's oil supplies?

Why did Bush continue reading to school children in Florida, even though the country was under attack and he is the Commander in Chief?

Why did the Joints Chief of Staff continue his meeting with a Congressmen throughout the entire 9/11 events, even though his job is defend the country?

Why didn't the FAA and military follow Standard Operating Procedures and intercept some of the hijacked planes? The plane that hit the Pentagon, hit it over one hour after the plane that hit the North Tower of the WTC. There was plenty of time to scramble planes from Andrews Air Force base in order to intercept the plane that was hijacked over Ohio and was last known heading in the direction of Washington, DC.

Why wasn't anyone in our military or intelligence communities reprimanded for letting the 9/11 attacks occur without any response? It seems to me that such a huge gaffe would cause some reprimands and even dismissals?!? Another fishy aspect of a very fishy episode in American history.
