I am "Shocked, Shocked" that you don't agree with me. :>)

Snipped from today's Jerusalem Post. I guess Netanyahu would rather be on the inside looking out.

>>>>>The last obstacle to coalition building was resolved with Binyamin Netanyahu's agreement to give up the Foreign Ministry to become finance minister.

His aides bargained for two days with Sharon via mediators, then agreed to accept the post after receiving a letter from the premier giving Netanyahu widened powers, guaranteeing him more authority in setting economic policy than held by previous finance ministers.

The powers include the chairmanship of the economic-social cabinet, control of the Government Companies Authority, responsibility for handling the effort to obtain American loan guarantees, and the right to veto Sharon's choice of a central bank governor.

What Netanyahu failed to achieve is designation as acting prime minister when Sharon travels abroad or membership in the negotiating team for prospective talks with the Palestinians<<<<<<<
