Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11, nothing. Anyone who states he did is just plain BS'ing. There is no evidence whatsoever. Osama and Saddam dislike each other. Saddam is anti-Islamic fundamentalism. The chances of them getting together are just as great as Al Qaida getting together with anyone in the world who dislikes the US, in any country, or just a Mafia who is willing to sell weapons to any one for a price. The real danger of WMD remains in the former Soviet areas where stockpiles are not well-guarded and employees are underpaid.

TigerPaw,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you...

The reason why I mark the beginning the chain to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, is because American troops were not based in Saudi Arabia before that time. OBL has stated that the main reason for his attacks against America, is the continued presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia. His statement is backed up by the fact that, OBL's organization did not begin attacking Americans, till after the Gulf War. Finally, I believe that the Saudi Royal family, would not have allowed American troops to remain in their country, if Iraq was not considered to be a major threat to Saudi Arabia's security.

re:"That's where your reasoning breaks down. You are trying to say that there was a chain of events that led to 9/11. You arbitrarily mark the beginning of that chain as Iraq's invasion of Kuwait"
