And I believe (provided we don't see a disaster) that things are happening inside our economy that are positive. I'm fairly sure we still have some downside to go but I can't in good conscience lay it all at the feet of GWB. I also wont go back and say its all Clinton's fault. Things happen regardless of who is in office that dictate a change in cycle. I believe we are in one of those periods. No matter who won in 2000 they were going to have a tough time. It would be like following John ELway as QB in Denver. It's pretty hard to live up to the fantasy land economy we had in the roaring 90's. All we can do is hope that decisions made lead to a quicker recovery than it currently looks. I can't tell the future so its hard for me to say for sure that everything is being done properly. That said I think there are things that should benefit us long term unless it gets messed up by outside forces. The devil is in the unknown. Imagine the potential of what we view as toys (radio controlled planes) being used to deliver chemical agents on our soil. Propaganda? Maybe. But what a wild thought to ponder.
