zonder--It's accepted now (on the basis of examinations of the Florida ballots and the voting mistakes that occurred there) that Bush lost Florida. Only the Supreme Court directed that the existing data, showing him in the lead, resulted in his winning Florida and therefore, obtaining a majority of electoral votes. Some of the best research in this area has been done by a professor of journalism at Univ. of Illinois, named McChesney. That's my source. Art
