I caught some of the golf yesterday. I like this match
play stuff. It's fun.

I've been doing work around the house today. Another rainy
cold weekend. Had a little snow yesterday. It was
pouring today.

Looking forward to spring.
It may get me to think of other stuff besides the weakening
economy, possibility of war, terrorism, and everything
else that sucks in this world and get me to focus more on
what is good.

In church today we were asked as Catholics to pray for
peace and to keep peace in the mid east in our minds during
lent. The message was more than just think about it.
Almost like do something about it in a sense. A message
handed down from the Pope to Bishop Egan who in turned
requested that all the priests pass the message on.

I think it was the first time I remember the church doing
this.

It sort of felt good.

It almost felt like a very conservative protest on their
part. Careful not to offend anyone but clear in the
message that the church does not stand behind a war with
Iraq.

More and more folks are not buying into Cheney's master
plan.
