As early as last summer, I had decided that war was coming. This was primarily based on my assessment of the individuals involved. That decision remained unchanged until this weekend. I'd still say the chances are that there will be a war, but Turkey has made me question that conclusion. My opinions are still in a state of flux. Without Turkey, not only will war be more difficult, it will be longer. Longer at a time when the window for war is already closing. The end game is here, and it's not going according to the neo-con's plan.
