Pardon my ignorance but why are you so adamant in dismissing TD-SCDMA as a threat?

A) It is technologically significantly more complicated than CDMA2000.

B) It is nowhere near trials - which means that it won't be commercially available for at least 3 years and probably more like 4 or 5.

C) It doesn't bypass Qualcomm's patents. I wrote a post on that years ago after doing a fair bit of first hand research.
