OT Being at peace with oneself is the most important of all I just talked with a (very competent) MD (internist-nephrologist) at my GYM. He has renounced his medical practice because he said it was not living-It was like existing in a war zone with the HMOs and malpractice suits. He is now in the wholesale grocery business making much less but is at peace with himself. He said he would not return if they offered him 5 million dollars-it just was not worth it. He says now he goes home every night relaxed. He is well rested and enjoying life. Me I enjoy the excitement. As a colleague and friend said: It is really just an elegant form of gambling.
