I must say that I, too, am very upset with the way the US government is behaving over this "war on terrorism". In my opinion, they are doing as they please and with their own agenda. I agree and for that reason I will give the US the benefit of the doubt but this is the first time in history, that I know of, that the US is initiating war --- and against the approval of many former allies and friends. As far as I am concerned, I do not agree with the reasons that the US and UK are going to war. I believe Saddam has complied and is complying with the UN inspectors. He is destroying the relics of his old weapons systems. He is not a threat to anyone that I know of. In my opinion, the US and UK are using WMD and "terrorism" as a ploy to colonize Iraq and obtain control of the oil. There is also, of course, a strategic reason which is to Israel's advantage. I do not think that my reasons for disagreement with the US and UK about going to war either lean too far to the left or are anti-American, in fact, I think they are logical and legitimate. And, fair.
