The counting doesn't bother me. It's the fact that I'm counting it so the gov't can be sure it has stolen what it thinks is its share.

It did NOTHING to earn it. Why should it be entitled to a cut? I didn't see any IRS agents working in the lab at 2 AM when I was still there.

Oh, I finally got the mound of paper to the accountant. This is just the start of the torture, though. Now I await calls telling me what else I should have provided and didn't. Then I must decide to tell her to take a long walk off a short pier or try to come up with whatever obscure document is supposedly needed.

Sigh. No rest for the wicked. :-)
