CIA's initial decision to dismiss Hamza emanated from the fact that his first contacts were arranged by the Iraqi National Congress, a dissident group the CIA distrusted in the 1990s.

I cannot imagine that being the only reason why they would call him a liar and refuse to milk him for all the info he had.

Look at the guy's CV. Can you really say the US threw this guy away just because his intro was not by the right guys?
