que, A question for you: do you (or anyone else) happen to know how much additional natgas demand gets created per heating degree day? That is, how much more mcf of gas is needed to heat this country when we have one more heating degree day?

If we know the answer to the above then we could determine how much natgas demand this winter was due to it being much colder than last winter. Then we could try to figure how much that affected the prices -- that's the hard part I suppose. The question in the back of my mind here is whether we still would be having a gas supply crisis if we had a winter like we had last year.
