That's the rub. The NeoCons will never get closure on Iraq, the endgame turns into a Tar Baby. The Regime Change is just Act 1 Scene 1, the rest of the play is Nation Building. For that, the Stage is smoky, there is no supporting cast. It's billed as a Romance (Iraq marries Lady Liberty), but a tragedy seems more likely, given how unsuited they are for each other. Can it be a Romance, if it's an arranged shotgun marriage? And the playwright, well, he's no Shakespeare.
