The damage Bush has caused will take years to mend on the global stage.

I think the best we can hope for as far as the global economy is concerned is a severe defeat for Bush in 04, which I personally think is likely. That will be a signal to the world that the people of the US are not in favor of unprovoked agression. Then we have to mend what is left of the UN. I say put Clinton in charge of some global negotiations, Bush makes Clinton look like some kind of global peace envoy. Geez I can't believe I said that! <gg> If I were a republican I'd be concerned right about now.
