But the former first lady said she wasn't opposed to an eventual war, even if the United States had to go into battle with only Britain and a few other allies, if that is what it takes to disarm Saddam Hussein (news - web sites). Nonetheless, inspection is preferable to war, if it works, the New York Democrat said.
