Israel as a collective of socialist Kibbutzim, is history. But the Histadrut is still alive and kicking. Asides from minor problem of needing to jettison a Zionist identity, check out the societal fault lines in Israel: Secular vs haredi Ashkenazim vs mizrahim Zionist (including religious zionist) vs post-zionist dove vs hawk and don't forget Arab vs Jew (not forgetting the Bedouin, Druze, Christians, both Arab and non, and Samaritans)
