Couldn't lie like Clinton either.

I believe if you get Clinton teamed with Carville and Begala you have a team of liars that simply cannot be defeated. They couldn't in '92 (lies were spewing by the hundreds), and they couldn't be beaten today.

90% of the American people are gullible enough to fall for anything if you have three really good liars telling it to them.

Sometimes I just want to take out my .44 and shoot the TV when Begala is on Crossfire. The guy is just impossible to watch because the level of lies is so high.

The economy had taken a beating before the Gulf War. I had a client that was a chain of mall shoe stores. They were doing great, then one day, at the end of July, it all just stopped. Instantly. Later, I was able to pinpoint the very day that the economic downturn not only BEGAN, but HAPPENED.

By the time of the election, the economy was back. But the Clinton Lying Team was so good with the "Worst Economy in 50 Years" lie that the American people believed it.

Bush Jr could come out of this war an absolute hero. And still lose the election on the economy -- which is down, but certainly not out, and certainly not due to anything Bush did or didn't do.

Bush Sr. had very high approval numbers coming out of the gulf war but the election wasn't soon enough.

The war in Iraq should long be over by November of next year. Or so we are told. I am not sure about the economy though. With biblical deficits and gzillions going into the occupation of iraq and paying all those bribes...who knows.

The recession was an undoing but he really got out of touch with the masses. Couldn't lie like Clinton either.

Recessions seem to be a characteristic of republicans. Reagan, Nixon, Bush Sr...and you are right...the problem with Republicans is they are too honest. You know, what's a few burglars here, some weapons under the table there, and a few germ spores to former friends...But no matter...they can embellish really well...evidence that is. Maybe that will carry them through.

I was listening to Blix on CSPAN last night. You know what he said...they have visited a number of Iraqi "WMD Sites" intelligence provided by the US and the UK....and they have found nothing at any of them. Do you suppose Saddam is bugging the CIA?
