Germany was on the march invading one country after another. It was the most powerful military in the world.

In spite of the fact that Germany was "disarmed" after WWI, and in the early 30s was limited to a 100K man army, had no navy, and was under watchful eye of the "League of Nations".

Please give me a point by point breakdown.

F* you. I'm not going to teach you history.

Germany was on the march invading one country after another. It was the most powerful military in the world. Appeasement meant handing country after country to Hitler hoping to keep him quiet.

This subject, and the uncanny comparison with the so-called disarmament of Iraq over the last 12 years, it worthy of further discussion. Germany was "disarmed" during the early 20s. But a world community didn't have the will to follow maintain a watchful eye.

There are exceptionally strong parallels between Germany's covert military buildup beginning, essentially, in the mid- to late-20s, and Iraq's covert WMD programs of the last 12 years.
