Well, you're exaggerating a bit- I definitely take issue with Kerry for that, but he is in fact pretty far left on the scale, and was even moreso twelve years ago. Most Dems did back the President then.

I can't agree with you on that one. Clinton would have gone after Saddam.

When Dems say Bush Sr. screwed up in 1991, they pretend that they were all for Desert Storm back then. Same thing will happen 12 years from now with regard to Iraq War II. Even the phrase "It's the economy, stupid!" lost its luster after 9/11.

Whether dems would have gone after Saddam or not is irrevelant when it comes to evaluating Bush Sr.'s performance. I can live with all of what he did wrong except his leaving Saddam in power. Look at the cost to us today of that mistake.
