Well, like I said, I cringe at the idea of bringing back the draft. But, I think that if we're going to have some fairness in our society, the privledged's sons and daughters should be subjected to military service as well. They'll probably figure out a way to avoid it like they did with Viet Nam. But, at least it would restore some fairness to our system, while perhaps limiting people's freedom. But hey, the wealthy benefit from our society just as much if not more so than the next guy, perhaps they should be subject to a military draft so they have to fight to protect those benefits. Best of all, perhaps we'd have less wars if wealthy people's kids were in the military, they'd raise hell to their Congressperson next time there was a war.
