read carefully because I am serious. And some of the legislation that has been enacted is correcting those problems.....way too late for several thousand people though. But the laws being passed IMO go too far. Nobody really is aware of it but the new Dept of Homeland Security is now in charge of all technology for personal identification. And the newest technology in identification is called biometrics. Using palm prints and retina scans to id a person. That technology is being perfected now and there's going to be a national id forced on America in a new system using that technology by the office of Homeland Security. No doubt that is still some years away. The gov has tried and been shot down several times to enact a national id system. A federal id, even a federal drivers license. But this time, in the present climate, it will succeed. Now this system smacks of the system talked about in Revelation in the bible. A lot of Christians will refuse to be a part because of that very reason. So under the present laws that were enacted they become assigned a threat level because they are dissenting and are now a threat to national security. but they are exercising their religious convictions and are not terrorists. Just law abiding citizens. How is that going to be resolved when the bible says whoever takes that mark is doomed? A link talking about business developing common standards for biometric identification. oasis-open.org Business is pushing very hard to get this system going too because it will reduce fraud among other things. And the bible says that no one will be able to buy or sell without this mark. That's business. Its an obvious advancement in technology that would benefit everyone if it were not for the civil liberty and Biblical implications. Scan your hand or eye and buy something instead of a debit or credit card. No fraud ever. No bad checks. ANd when there is no cash and this is THE system then no buying or selling unless you're in it. SO business and government are locked arm in arm developing this and making laws that would make anyone who doesn't register in it a potential threat to national security and scheduled to be picked up. Then what? Forced into the system? Locked up indefinitely in camps? The laws are there now to do that!
