He also knew that the one thing that could stop him was international organizations. That is why he pulled out of the League of Nations so that he would create an army to conquer the world. Sounds very familar.

Nationalists (and the Nazis were undoubtedly nationalists) are always flag wavers. It's the occupational hazard of being an overly zealous patriot- easy to slide into unhealthy nationalism.
