Well, he didn't have to phreak the little kiddies out. But, leaving in an orderly manner in to make sure he was out of harms way would have been a good idea. So would acting like a leader (Commander in Chief) in such a crises. In any case, his reaction or lack thereof makes me suspicious?!?

JFK riding around Dallas in an open limo wasn't such a good idea, despite the bravado. He's dead. Bad job by Secret Service. Just like a bad job to let the President continuing reading to a bunch of school kids while the country was under attack. What do they pay them for? I know it's all water under the bridge now, but I do find some of our "leaders" behavior on 9/11 puzzling to say the least.
