By the way, how are Native American Indians faring today? How long's that been?

Well, I don't know.. I'm part Cherokee and Black Foot Indian, and I don't feel very oppressed.. So I guess it all depends on what you mean by a "native american".. Especially since their ancestors were also immigrants to North America at one time..

And besides, when't the last time you went to an Indian reservation?? Don't you know about all the gambling casinos they've been setting up so those "rich" pale faces and buffalo soldiers can lose their money??... Or how they can fish for endangered Salmon while the pale faces are denied this right??

True, Saddam butchered his political enemies. Pretty much standard fare for any dictator, including the many we've supported over the past century.

Yeah.. I know.. I've heard your kind say it before.... one death is a tragedy, a million deaths merely a statistic..

It's also "standard fare" that dictators have been destroyed by democracies when they dare to threaten them or their allies.

Ever stop to think Iraq might be in better shape today had it not tried to cozy America by going to war with Iran?

Are you nuts?? Saddam went to war with Iran because HE felt threatened (and rightfully so) by the Iranian revolution.. The fact that the largest portion of Iraq's population is Shiite no doubt played a large part in engaging in what he considered a pre-emptive strike. Was it right?? Who cares?? Because the Ayatollahs certainly had designs on expanding their own revolution to the rest of the middle east and eventually claiming Mecca and Medina for themselves.

Thus, Iraq had no need to "cozy up" with the US in order to prompt such an invasion.. And you can bet your @ss that one of the next "targets" of this war on terrorism is Iran... Hopefully via internal revolt.
