"The Truman administration chose not to heed his advice." They heeded it a great deal. But we are fortunate that we did not nuke Russia. Killing innocent people when there are reasonable alternatives is barbaric. I think it is valuable in the present circumstances that there is a forum for free dialogue and expression of opposition...regardless of motive. It is a thumbs up to civilization that Nations should be asked to rationally justify aggression before the world community. Hitler would still be a paper-hanger and a painter...
