Sam, In my more bitter moments, I see 2 political parties in the US, one conservative, aka Democrat, and one racist, theocratic, neo-fascist, aka Republican. I am encouraged by the efforts of our allies to resist a rush toward war. I hope it succeeeds and I hope that Bush is executing a monumental bluff that will achieve the objective of disarming Saddam without a war. I hope that the American people will wake up and see that Bush came to office with an agenda and he has used every problem as an excuse to implement his agenda instead of finding a solution. He is wrecking our economy, our environment, and our standing in the international community. He has reduced world problems to white hats and black hats and his solution is for white hats to gun down the black.
