I don't know a lot about it even though I know more than most. My point was that rationalism appears to have given human beings more and better choices for controlling their environment and pursuing their happiness. I could (of course) regale you with all sorts of longevity statistics and such--but I will not waste a lot of time on what to me is a simplistic point...
