This seems mis-stated to me. They don't support Saddam Hussein, but rather feel very strongly that this is not the time to attack. They'd rather not have to attack, and would rather try to aggressively pursue disarmament through non-military routes, giving more time and money to inspections. Bush has achieved what should be his first purpose -- to draw significant attention to Iraq's need to disarm, and the buildup of pressure to force him to do so.
