That would be one way out. Clearly, we have reached the dead end at the UN. I don't think Bush will press Blair to do anything he doesn't want to do. Blair has put too much stock in the UN (which helped him domestically, while the sailing there was smooth), but now, the UN is out of the picture.


I am surprised. I hadn't thought the UK would pull out no matter how bad it got for Blair. However, you may be right.

Whether Blair gives it up now or not, I think he's ruined his career. Its too bad; I thought he was one of the better liberal politicians.
