Edscharp:

"Bush never gassed his people with nerve gas, Bush didn't kill a million Iranians in an unprovoked war, ..."

Which country do you think it was supplying him with arms and helping him killing those 1 million in an unprovoked war? Which country closed its eyes to Saddam's gassing of its own people?

When Iraninans were yelling and screaming (and showing documentation) that Saddam was gassing them and the Kurds, which country was it that told them they were lying?

What has changed now all of a sudden?

"We do indeed regret that our European friends no longer have the will nor the moral outrage to act against despots and murderers."

where was "your" moral outrage helping murderers back then?

So, you see, the world does have have justifiable reasons to doubt your president's "pure intentions" in sending in the bombers and slaughtering another untold numbers of innocent people.

OT - Iraq aside, a couple of factual corrections in former Yugoslavia. The genocide didn't happen in Serbia, it happened in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. The US knew about it as early as fall 1992 - something I can confirm personally. We did exactly nothing for three years while 250,000 people were slaughtered, Sarajevo was besieged and a couple million people ended up as refugees.

We pick and choose our battles to suit ourselves. Our involvement in ex-Yugoslavia was just enough but way too late for many. And the hesitation came from both the Bush and Clinton administrations, nothing partisan about it.

Well, did you happen to know that almost 3 million children have died in IRAQ, since the war back in 1991?
I know that does not count huh?
Why do the children have to pay the price?
Children are God's children.
Do you have idea, how many more will die if another war strikes?Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
<<George Bush is our President. In the shadow of 911 we will give him all the support we can to avoid another terrorist event against our country.>>
Do you really believe that you will avoid another terrorist attack by bomb them, or they will get a lot more aggressive probably ten times more, if we go to war?
If someone comes and kills your entire family, what would you do?I know you will say:That is ok?
We had a dictator in Greece back in the 1970s, sort of like Sadam, his name was Papantopoulos.Guess what:Several students died to free the whole country from the pos. They put him in jail, and rotten to death.
Since it seems that Iraqi's can not do that to Sadam, then why not several pro special forces take him out?
Is it difficult?I just do not think so.
Why should we go bomb them, and also kill innocent famile's and children to just get one man?Makes no sense to me.Take a look at the Airliners:they most will go bankrupt, if another war goes.No people will want to fly, because they will be scared to death.
The economy you think it will get better?IMO, I do not think so.Why?Because if they retaliate in some other way?
I thank God that we do not have these crazy Suicide bombers here.Imagine if something like this start happening here?Israel is used to that shit and prepared. We are not here.If one time happens, people will not even want to go to the malls, business, Economy, will go down big time.We will be scared to go see a movie.
I will still go though.WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
One man=Sadam,is better than millions innocent children dead.Let us reactivate EIMS to the special forces, or have him carry my bag, and me sharp shooter, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
