How long? Two-three hours? Slap them on the wrist and then give them $32 billion in aid? Until we run out of bad guys who are America's enemies. France and Germany.....and maybe the UK. These photos were taken in the mid 1990's. The article talks about the 20k Kurds the Turks had killed between '91 and '96. Since then, there are claims that they have killed another 10k Kurds. I knew about the bad treatment of Kurds in Turkey, but I was not aware of the magnitude, and that it is so recent. Which is consistent with my post yesterday, that it is a good thing that Turkey will not be involved. Frankly, I don't understand how Turkey can claim to be a democracy with all the human rts. violations that go on within its borders. ted
