Lizzie? Bush does not give a freak about CA. Get used to it. He ISN'T going to carry the state ever and he knows it, so why put in danger carrying some other state to curry favor in CA? THis is politics; it's a rough, dirty game. But Bush basically plays it no different than Clinton or Davis or Gore. You yourself can be SCREAMING MAD at him and he doesn't care. If you lived in Iowa or Texas or Florida, he would. But not if you live in CA. And, yes, I know he's supposedly the President of all the people. He's hardly the first President to have trouble remembering that. Do you think the Johnson Manned Space Flight Center is in Houston because it's an ideal geographic location? Americans, by a 5-4 margin, also favored attacking Iraq with just a coalition of allies THAT he will care about.
