OT -- my neck and shoulders, "candle" pose alternated at times with being literally folded as feet touch the ground behind the head,

I call that the shoulder stand moving into a preliminary bow. And so when your feet are touching the ground with your palms down, fingers pointing to your feet, push your head and neck off the ground to form the bow. I love yoga. I was just curious if there was a particular kind of yoga you prefer, like hatha, kripalu, ashtanga, kundulini, sivananda.... Doesn't matter though, they're all great. Have you tried sauna yoga yet, it's called Bikrum. My personal favorite yoga is Sivananda, the yoga not the theory.
