"Why do people (who find it in vogue to hate Americans) tend to neglect the facts about the history of butchery and human rights attrocities perpetuated by the Iraq regime, while at the same time spew crap about perceived US civil rights issues?"

Fairly sure no one here hates Americans.

When we get to the issue of the atrocities of the Iraqi regime, I agree there are deplorable.

But, the same can be said about China, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, North Korea, North Vietnam, Cambodia, Yugoslavia, etc. etc.

Are we going to attack them also?

No.

Why?

Do we have the right, to tell other races how they should govern themselves, or what they should believe in?

Freedom and democracy is our way of life. I'm just not sure every other race shares our ideals. In fact I am sure they don't.

You seem to forget who supported Iraq against Iran not that long ago. Precisely this suggests that you should look at all the "angles".

History has no left leanings. Your attack on France is ludricous as the USA has played the exact same game many times, so don't be a hypocrite.
