---OT---

Hi thanks. I can see Amat @10 and will only take more shares around $10. (I am hign cash in the trading a/c and shorted 800 Xlnx at $23 one week ago).

I think that most of the active traders are shorting but taking(long) a few high beta(s) with hi/SI such as Xlnx for quick (war news related) bounces if any ...otherwise there are few real buyers/sellers in this environment.

OT AMAT:

Holding my first lot, bot at 12. More orders at 11 and every point on down. I don't think the October low is anything special.

Maybe, instead of a selling climax, we get a disinterest bottom. The SOX is drifting lower, on low volatility (at least, VIX nothing close to 50), and low volume. The semis have shown relative strength on this latest downturn, indicating they will show relative strength on the next upturn.

It's possible that the max uncertainty (and market bottom) will be 1-2 weeks before the war starts, which means this week. But it's also possible we get an Exogenous Shock, and that VIX spike to >>50 you've been waiting for, at any time.
