do nothing

Did I say anything about doing nothing? When your winning it's time to redouble your efforts, not change course simply because someone "poked you in the eye". In '40, the German's were winning the air war over Britain. Then the British bombed Berlin, and Hitler in a fit of pique changed tactics, and lost. I saying use your head, not your gonads. Testosterone rarely makes for clear thought. A cleverly thought out plan to reinforce our obvious strengths, and exploit their equally obvious weakness, would definitely receive my support. To think if we don’t bomb, we’re not fighting back is simplistic. This is a culture war, and it will be won on cultural terms. What is needed is nothing less than a cultural reformation in the heart of Islam. That’s not something that can be imposed from the outside, but we could exacerbate the existing sheering forces to precipitate a cultural metamorphosis.

your party

Come now, you know better than that. I have no party. I’ll bash both sides of the corrupt political duopoly. I’m only bashing Bush & Co. because they’re the ones in power, and making an incredible series of blunders.

Then their followers will see that Allah was not with these murderous thugs.

What they will see is the infidels have invaded the umma, and as written in the Qu’ran all able bodied Muslims are under obligation to rectify such an abomination.

The US & the coalition of the willing will then do what we have always done. We will help these people & these countries rebuild & allow them to determine their own fate. And then we will leave. PERIOD!

That’s just not consistent with Iraq as the lubricant for the Hegemony – the stated goal of those currently in control of U.S. policy.
