"No one has lied." How many people in this country or around the world do you think are aware of our supplying Saddam with his weapons during the Iran war....? By not admitting it and in fact suggesting that Saddam has developed these things by himself is lying IMO.... You again bring up the oil money and again I ask why we are giving him that money.....how many people realize we are Iraq's best oil customer...most think we have sanctions against them. Re: killing the Kurds.....if we didn't expect he was going to use the gas to kill people during that war, why did we give it to him??? And that's another distortion, ie he gassed his own people: first, the Kurds don't obey Saddam and in fact govern themselves; second, at least one investigator has reported the gassing of the Kurds was probably accidental as they were caught in an attack of the Iranians who were also using gas.... The investigator says it is not clear whose gas killed the Kurds...
