I don't think it's being DRIVEN by the Jewish lobby, either. There are a lot of drivers. That is only one of them.

I can't find the post now, but when I first started posting about the war maybe a month ago I recall listing the demographic groups that were in favor of the war. It included Jews. It also included fundamentalist Christians. The oil lobby. Can't recall what else. I do recall, though, that no one commented on that assertion. It seems too obvious to question.


In addition to all of those its being driven by popular frustration with and anger against Iraq (and strictly speaking against large parts of the middle east) and by the ideas and conviction of Bush and certain senior administration officials.

I don't really see it as being a special interest cause, weather you are talking about the Jewish lobby, the oil lobby or fundamentalist Christians as the special interest.
