Too much pessimism. I have seen a number of longer term technicians throw in the towel and go positive over the past few days. The short termers over at the TSC are licking their lips looking for new shorting chance but something tells me this move could last for a few weeks. Two days ago looked like that exquisite moment if you were following airlines, aerospace, defense and financials. I have seen 4 or 5 longer term bears flip in last three days. Very interesting.

[edit - added statement here] The technical patterns on many bios are setting up quite nicely also. I won't name any names as it would fit my bias though.

>>Today felt like the good old days of 1999/2000<<

It was a nice shaft of sunlight through the clouds. May we please have more days like this?

Listening to CNBC (Pisani), sounds like its the hedge funds unwinding some of their "war" positions - long gold etc., short equity etc. If he's right, several have had their heads handed to them recently. Aw Geee. <VBG>
