The problem is, Tip, every business during the upcoming earnings warnings season will sweep all their problems under the "war jitters" carpet. Thus, they will project a rosy outlook (or at least that's what We the Sheeple will hear). We'll see bad earnings and bad economic numbers, and they will be totally swept aside. In the long run, markets are a weighing machine...but in the short run, it's a voting machine, and the chads have all been left hanging. F*ck it...I'm in training for the World Series of Poker and I don't need the distraction anyway. Signed, Flat until June.
