Hawk, I think you're a bit off if you think soldiers want war more than peace. They would be more than happy to be brought home and reunited with their loved ones. Remember, they're not getting Big League ballplayer contracts.

Well, let's face it....Bush has made his mistakes....

I opposed his steel and other tariffs, his approach to labor issues, the size of his proposed budget, and his apparent abandonment of the Estrada nomination to name a few....

But, about Iraq...he is absolutely correct....

Hawkmoon--here's a great question for you.

For the first time in United States history we are about to embark on a preemptive war strategy, meaning that we'll invade a nation we think may in the future become a danger to us. Indeed, this has never before been done.

Pretty important issue, don't you think?

OK, here's the question: How many hours has this new strategy for war, or even the war itself, been debated in the United States Senate?

I am ROFL
Does the UN mean anything to YOU? If it did, you'd want them with you. You can't wave 1441 around, at the same time you are telling everyone on the council to go screw themselves because they aren't doing what the US wants. Well you CAN do that, but you look like an idiot.

The UN means something to me, but it is obvious it means nothing to you.

As for the rest of your post, you can't seem to think straight. Remember when I said "I support war when sovereign countries are invaded and when it isn't a civil war"? That covered Kuwait. I will be happy to say that many more times for you- but aren't we on the third iteration of that same statement? How many times before you comprehend that simple sentence? It doesn't appear all that difficult to understand to me.
