You think a pres adminitration could have prevented the crash of the stock mkt bubble? Once set in motion from the late 1990's there's no way this could have been prevented, Lizzie, any more than A Greenspan or Bill Clinton prevented the bubble itself from inflating.

This is econ 101. 12 different class times to choose from.

Lizzie, as a community and lavbor organizer prior to switching to management and professor, I came to the conclusion that the pain perceived or real, on either side of the equasion must be greater not to settle a dispute than to settle. In otherwords, we as emotional beings will be forced to move in the direction where we percieve the least pain. An example was the baseball strike. The owners felt the pain from the very beginning and then the players after they were out on strike for awhile. Then, the wives, honey's and family members jumped the player case for settlement.

IMO, the same thing is occuring with the dispute with Iraq. MOAB is the perceive threat on Iraq. Plus the US is up against the perceived pain the heat of the desert and the loss of face in the World and credibility if they back down.

The sooner that this gets over the better the market, CSCO, AMAT, etc. will be. However, there shall be pain. It is just which is perceived the lessor of the two evils.

Just my opinions.

Paul
