Yeah, you're right - this gets the French off the hook. LOL.

Did Iraq invade Kuwait and Iran, and gas Iranians and his own people in response to invasion and terrorist attacks from those or any neighbors?

I think Israel's settlements in the occupied territories are a root cause of Palestinian hopelessness, and they only fuel unrest. The settlements seem to be based on some misguided claim on ancient history.

The Allies bent over backwards to to provide a homeland for Jews because the Hollocaust, and Israel's additional move to settle in Palestine ignors the rights the Palestinians to have to their own country. It just seems like greed to me.

Heard reports that Saddam has wired 700 oil fields with explosives, all wired to a central control point.

I assume Alcatel got the networking deal on this.

what you might consider "Palestine" consists of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, territory that was part of Egypt and Jordan respectively until '67. i don't know what you consider a Palestinian "is" however, I don't recall either of these nations allowing such Palestinians to form their own nation before 1967. In fact, i'd bet that both of those nations are probably not unhappy about losing the territory, and, can you advise me if they've ever asked for it back ? remember, Israel gave the Sinai back...

Gaza ? hah, the Egyptians wouldn't want it back...do you have any inkling why that might be?
