<<...you mean to say that we should hold 300,000 americans in the desert indefinitely...>> I NEVER said that...Bush recklessly ramped up the troop levels too high -- we don't need to have hundreds of thousands of troops in The Middle East to apply maximum pressure on Saddam....Yet, if Hans Blix says he needs a few months to complete his inspections / verifications shouldn't we be willing to give the time to him...? The French now say they will agree to a new resolution with a time limit of LESS than 120 days...There is room for a compromise BUT does Bush have the courage to go after it..?
