tejek,

re:To date, the inspectors are doing their job but Bush still refuses to back off. What does that tell you?

The inspectors are doing their jobs because Bush put an Army on Saddams doorstep. Even with an army poised to take over Iraq and kill or depose Saddam he still can't figure out how to cooperate fully. Perhaps he doesn't want to?

The inspectors are doing a lousy job. Not that its really their fault but they simply are not equiped for the job, and probably can not be set up to do a proper job with Saddam still in charge.

To the extent they are doing the job at all it is because of the threat to Iraq from the armed might of the US. It it wasn't for Bush's actions and policies there would be no inspectors in Iraq.
