of course troops should withdraw, and then all sanctions on Iraq -sanctions responsible for the deaths of millions of innocents- should be lifted once and for all.
granted, a hugely embarrassing diplomatic defeat and an ignominius retreat of troops now after having banged the drums with Saddam since becoming illegitimate president will be The Mother of All Humiliations for Bush The Small.
I see no other way for him to save face than to go into exile to Bulgaria or Angola in order to avoid the opprobrious impeachment at home.
