Had he chosen to (not that he ever has that I can remember) Fareed Zakaria could have just as easily biased his article the other way.

France and Germany were happy to have the US spend $15 trillion to fight the Cold War for them while they built welfare societies. Now they're acting like spoiled children resisting "American power." What a crock.

The US got a rude awakening in 9/11. It's about time France and Germany smell the coffee, too.

Get back to me when the US starts exracting tribute from empire like France, Germany and Russia did. It ain't gonna happen.
