>>Bush is at least making an attempt to validate the UN.<<

At the urging of all the liberals...unfornutely, it is endangering our soldiers. All those who have supported the stalling tactics and delays for war will end up with blood on their hands.

No revisionist history please. The world loved Clinton. No he didn't always use the UN, and no president is a slave to the UN, nor should he be, but this kind of war involving many foreign interests and a MAJOR peace-keeping effort requires as many allies as possible. Bush has just turned off so many countries he's a weak diplomat now. All he can do is go unilaterally, even if it hurts our long-term interests, costs tax-payers much more and puts our fighting men more at risk.
