Actually, I thought Blair's courageous stand is a clear reminder that the shame of Neville Chamberlain's historic role still rings even today.

It is a given that democracies abhor war of any kind and will do almost anything to avoid it. True leaders on the other hand have larger considerations in mind.

If Tony Blair pays a political price for the strength and courage of his conviction today, that will be regretable, however, given time, history will judge him to be one of the greatest leaders the UK ever had.
